At Brick Business Law, P.A., our work isn’t just limited to the offices and the courtroom. We are highly active in the community and strive to support those in need, and one of the annual events our firm is proud to take part in is the Krchmar Classic golf event.
One of our senior attorneys, Joe Kennett, Esq., co-founded the Krchmar Classic with Matt Koehler to help their longtime friend Matt Krchmar. In 2016, Matt was diagnosed with stage IV non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. As he spent months in treatment and faced several medical bills, attorney Kennett worked with Koehler to create the Krchmar Classic to help raise funds for their friend’s hospital fees.
Sadly, Matt passed away in 2018, but his impact can still be felt through the golf event named after him. The tournament continues today as Matt believed the money raised from this event could be used to help families and individuals who are suffering from similar devastating illnesses.
