David Carpenter joined Brick Business Law in 2016 as a business litigation paralegal.  In 2021, he was promoted to Senior Litigation Paralegal.

He has over 17 years of varied Florida litigation experience. His prior litigation experience includes working with the Florida Attorney General’s office prosecuting child neglect/abuse cases and termination of parental rights as well as creditor foreclosures and bankruptcies with a large Tampa Bay area law firm.

Before working as a paralegal he was employed by the Pasco County School System as an Assistant P.E. Coach working with children with special needs which included coaching for Pasco County Special Olympics.  David is a 1994 graduate of Pasco Comprehensive High School in Dade City, Florida. He received an A.S. degree in Paralegal Studies and a General Education A.A. degree from Pasco-Hernando Community College and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Florida.

David is a history buff with interests in the Colonial and Civil War Eras as well as military history.  He also enjoys fishing with his daughter Jessica.
